Use

After lighting the wooden wick, let the candle burn at least long enough to melt the entire top layer of wax down to the tin.

This will achieve maximum candle life. To extinguish the candle simply and without unwanted smoke, attach the lid of the tin. The flame is extinguished almost immediately due to the lack of oxygen.

Soy wax has a lower melting point than paraffin wax, so it melts more quickly when lit and releases the fragrance into the room more quickly.

A soy candle scents a room faster, and its fragrance is cleaner and fuller.

Burning time

A natural candle should not burn for more than 4 hours at a time, ideally 1.5 – 2.5 hours.

How to care for a wooden wick

Wooden wicks have the advantage of a horizontal burning flame (the flame is larger in width than in height). This feature makes the fragrance from the candles more intense.

Unlike a cotton wick, a wooden wick should be trimmed before each burn – grasp the burnt part of the wick between the bellies of your fingers and gently break it off. The trimmed wicks will provide a cleaner, brighter burn, so the candle will last longer and not smolder
